   Description

Our 15 days Morocco tour starts and ends in Casablanca. This tour is recommendable for travelers who want to visit the most beautiful and famous spots of Morocco, without a rush. We are starting from Casablanca and the well-known mosque of Hassan II with a 210 meters tall minaret, we continue through Rabat before we reach Asilah with the colorful medina. Tangier and the blue paradise village of Chefchaouen are also included in this 15 days Morocco tour. Then, we visit the Imperial city of Meknes and the old Roman ruins of Volubilis, wander the maze-like streets of the old Medina of Fez, and pass through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We visit Ifran, the “Switzerland” of Morocco, totally different from all the other cities we have seen. Afterward, your 15 days Morocco tour, continues to the Sahara desert after previously having a stop in Midelt.

During your tour, you will stay two nights in the Sahara desert, visit a Nomad family, entertain with the Gnawa musicians of Khamlia village and sleep under a veil of million stars deep in the dunes of Sahara. Afterward, we will admire the Todra and Boumalne gorges, visit Ouarzazate and travel along the road of 1000 Kasbahs by visiting the charming village of Ait Ben Haddou. Then, you will enjoy the scenic route passing through the Berber villages along the way to Taroudant. Explore the national park of Souss Massa on the Atlantic coast, stroll around Agadir and walk along the sandy beach in Essaouira, formerly Mogador. Later on, wander through the noisy medina of Marrakech, a feast for the senses, and finally, this 15 days Morocco tour finishes with transfer to Casablancas airport.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Casablanca

Your 15 days Morocco tour starts today, as your driver will meet you at the exit of the airport. After your transfer to the hotel and the check-in, you will visit the impressive Mosque of Hassan II, one of the most important sights of the city which was built in 1993 by a team of over 6000 craftsmen. Also, it’s one of the few mosques in Morocco that non-Muslims are allowed to enter. Otherwise, in case your flight arrives late e.g. in the afternoon, you will visit the mosque the next morning. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 2Casablanca - Rabat - Asilah

After you have your breakfast, we will start our journey passing through Rabat, the capital of Morocco. During our stop, you will visit the Mausoleum Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower, the Oudaya Kasbah, and the archaeological site of Chellah. Later on, we continue to Asilah driving alongside the Atlantic coast. Asilah is known for its annual festival for art and most of the walls of the Medina are painted by various famous artists from all over the world. In addition, your visit includes the Skalla fortress, where you will have a wonderful view of the Medina and the Atlantic ocean. Here you will spend the night in a riad or hotel.

Day 3Asilah - Tangier - Chefchaouen

Today, after breakfast, we will continue to Chefchaouen through Tangier. Along the way, we’ll admire the lighthouse of Cape Spartel and will have a quick stop in the caves of Hercules. Later on, you will have lunch in a restaurant in Tangier, before we continue to the picturesque blue city. Check-in to your accommodation and later, you will have free time. Walk around the undoubtedly cute medina of the Chefchaouen or for example, take your dinner in a restaurant close to the Outa El Hammam Square. 

Day 4Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fez

This morning, your tour continues with a visit to Volubilis, an ancient Roman settlement. Dating from the 2nd and 3rd centuries, the Roman ruins of Volubilis are considered the best preserved in Morocco. During your visit, you will admire the alleyways, gates, and mosaic floors. Later, we will stop in Meknes, also a World Heritage Unesco Site and another Imperial city. Here, you will visit the Medersa Bou Inania and the Bab Mansour, the Gateway to Moulay Ismail Palace. Afterward, we will take the way to Fez. Over the arrival, you will make the check-in to your accommodation, a traditional riad placed in the medina.

Day 5Fez city tour

Another beautiful day starts, as this morning you will meet with an official city guide to start exploring Fez. Fez is the most ancient and holy of the Imperial cities. Your cultural and historic tour will take you through the 2000-year-old living medina. A labyrinth of narrow streets, alive with markets and souks, craftsmen, donkeys, and mules transporting their loads. Visit the Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas (Islamic universities), the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Karaouine Mosque, and take a beautiful view of Chouara tannery. Lastly, finish your tour with a visit to Fes Jdid, and the revered Merenid Tombs for a spectacular panoramic city view. Overnight in a traditional riad.

Day 6Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga

Your 15 days tour continues, as this morning we will depart to the south of Morocco. Firstly, you will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. Enjoy this unique city and take some memorable photos. After that, you will head toward Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest. Afterward, we will make another stop to Midelt to have lunch. Later on, we will cross the pass of Tizi N Talghamt while admiring the views of Ziz gorges.

Then, we are passing by Aoufous and Erfoud, where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that, you will continue to the village of Merzouga. On arrival, you will check into your accommodation for tonight, a hotel with an amazing view of the Sahara desert dunes. Dinner and overnight in a traditional hotel.

Day 7Merzouga - Jeep safari of the dunes - Nomad Family - Khamlia - Sahara desert

This morning, after your breakfast, you will have a tour of the dunes on a 4×4 vehicle, allowing you to visit the black volcanic rocky desert, known for the fossils. Later on, we will visit a nomad family living in a tent, and Khamlia village, to entertain with the spiritual music of Gnawa. 

Then, you will have a break for lunch in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. After lunch, you will see the canal irrigation system and have a walk on the oasis located at the foot of the dunes. In the afternoon get ready for a camel trek for an hour to enjoy the sunset. While you are on the back of your dromedary, you will continue to the camp for an overnight in a traditional nomad tent. Dinner and spend the night in a bivouac in the middle of the dunes.  

Day 8 Sahara desert - Erfoud - Tinejdad - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dunes and then, have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to Merzouga. We will depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Afterward, you will have a break for your lunch. Later on, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir, making some stops along the way for photos. On arrival to Todra Gorges, enjoy its marvelous views while walking under it 160 m. rock walls. Next, we drive to Boumalne Dades and stop for a panoramic view of Dades Valley. At last, we arrive at the hotel, where you will spend the night. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 9Dades Valley - Ouarzazate - Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah

Today, we will continue this amazing 15 days tour by visiting the Rose Valley. We will pass through the big Skoura palm grove, a beautiful place with more than 700.000 palms and numerous kasbahs. In this valley, damascenes roses are raised for cosmetic use. Afterward, we will make another stop in Ouarzazate, also known as “The gate of the desert” which in the Berber language means “noiseless or without confusion”. Here we´ll admire Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco.

Later on, we continue to Atlas film studios where you can enter if you want. Finally, we reach the ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (a World Heritage Site by UNESCO ). Famous films have been shot on this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and more recently The Game Of Thrones…etc. Free time and overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 1OKasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Taroudant

After your breakfast this morning, we will start our tour by crossing the lower edge of the Atlas mountain range. Our Journey continues through stunning roads and landscapes until to reach our destination. On the way, we will admire Berber villages and the beautiful views of the mountains. Surrounded by the Atlas Mountains, Taroudant lies in the heart of a fertile valley. After the check-in, you will have time to take a nice walk into Taroudant’s myriad streets and buy some Moroccan saffron growing around the area. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 11Taroudant - Souss-Massa National Park - Agadir

Our 15 days tour lead us on one of the most amazing coastal roads of Morocco. On the way, we will pass through banana and citrus fruit plantations before we reach the Souss-Massa National Park, with incredible natural landscapes and wildlife. Later on, we continue to Agadir, a resort town with numerous restaurants and hotels. After the check-in, you will have enough time to discover this beautiful coastal city. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 12Agadir - Essaouira

A nice coastal ride will take us to our next destination, the town of Essaouira (formerly Mogador). Once we arrive, the driver will drop you off at your riad/hotel for the check-in, and later you will have the rest of the day to visit Essaouira, an exceptional example of a late-18th-century fortified town, and favorite city of Bob Marley. You will have the chance to explore the old medina, walk on the wide sandy beach, make a nice walk to enjoy the laid-back souks. Afterward, we suggest you visit a local restaurant to taste the freshest seafood of Morocco. Spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 13 Essaouira - Marrakech

After breakfast, we depart for Marrakech. A relaxing drive lined with Argan oil cooperatives. Here you will have the opportunity to visit an Argan oil cooperative and admire the famous goats climbing on the trees. Finally, 3 hours later, we will arrive in Marrakech and make the check-in. After that, you can visit the vibrant and colorful medina and the souks of Marrakech. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 14Marrakech city tour

After breakfast, you will have a private guided walking city tour, with an official guide. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens. In the afternoon the best option is to explore the medina on your own, approaching the square that in the evening is full of narrators, jugglers, diviners, snake charmers, and musicians. Overnight in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 15Marrakech - Casablanca' Airport (3 hours)

Your 15 days Morocco tour has come to an end. After breakfast, the driver will pick you up from your accommodation and transfer you to the airport of Casablanca via highway to catch your flight, and this is the end of our services.
