In the north of Morocco, where the Mediterranean sea meets the Atlantic ocean, we found the cosmopolitan city of Tangier.

Tangier, which was under international control until 1956 and for a large part of its history did not even belong to the government of Morocco, stands out from all the other Moroccan cities.

The history of Tangier has been linked to the sea and its strategic position. Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Portuguese, Spanish, English are some of the civilizations who contributed to the formation of its history.

In 1912 it reached its peak with literature and cinema presenting it as a romantic and exotic place.

Today Tangier is one of the most attractive destinations in Morocco. Walk around and explore the different influences through medina, where the winding alleys hold small museums, historic monuments, and souks. Tangier is also one of the best places to visit and base yourself while exploring the northern Atlantic Coast and the Mediterranean Coast.
